The Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge crosses the Missouri River from Omaha to Council Bluffs, Iowa. A line in the middle marks the border between Nebraska and Iowa, and people like to stand with a foot in each state.
On the Omaha side, Heartland of America Park and Lewis and Clark Landing sit along the river. The Joslyn Art Museum, in a pink marble building, is a short walk west of downtown.
